About Us
Leek Precision & Hydraulic Engineers have, for the last 30 years, provided Precision Engineering to a large number of national and international customers. I took over the business from its former M.D in 2020, since then we have been on an upwards trajectory and last year we invested more than £120,000 in new machinery to expand our capabilities and meet our customers demands. We are a forward-thinking, forward-looking company that is ready to help you with whatever engineering solutions you need.
We have 3 state of the art CNC lathes and have just invested in one of the largest bed mills on the market to complement our range of manual machines and both horizontal and vertical boring machines. Our staff have recently completed advanced training with the machine manufacturers to increase our batch manufacturing capability and reduce our machine times and therefore costs to customers.
Our highly skilled team have countless years of experience between them and are ready and willing to visit our customers to come up with the most practicable, cost-conscious decisions to get your projects manufactured whether that be morning noon or night.
Keeping everything in house helps us to keep control of all aspects of your projects from, drawings, to material choices to assembly.
More recently we have expanded out to provide our customers with on-site support and repairs. This has given us even more of an insight to provide our other customers with better more relevant information and advice. We do this on a 24/7 Basis and are available for machining at all times.
25 years ago, Central Engineering Products Ltd also branched out into Hydraulics Engineering. Our hydraulics engineers have over 75 years of combined experience and benefit from a dedicated hydraulics workshop where we keep a large amount of stock, have the ability to manufacture parts for repairs and design and manufacture hydraulic cylinders to our customers specifications from scratch. We have specialist hydraulic test equipment to help pinpoint failures, but this also allows us to test every cylinder we repair or produce before it leaves our workshop with its QC Test report. Furthermore, we can advise and supply our customers with motors, pumps and complete hydraulic control systems.
